2. Set the scale and the drawing units
In some cases you would like to start from a base plan or an image. To do so you need to import the image into Archisketch scrapbook which would then make the image available across all your projects. There are a number of different ways to import images and for more information on this please view “Images and Importing Content” in the help section. The easiest way to add an image to Archisketch is by using the Photos app.
Once you have finished, setup your drawing on a physical paper size to share. You can print directly from the iPad up to A1 size, or exported to PDF, which can be included in a CAD application, or uploaded to Adobe Creative Cloud or the Photos app.
Set the scale and the unit of the drawing in the ruler toolbar. Setting the scale of the drawing does not limit the size of the drawing, as you have limitless drawing size and zoom levels in Archisketch.

Symbols
In many cases you need to use an existing drawing as a base for a new one. For example you might be adding a new floor plan or exploring the elevation of a plan. With Archisketch you can import an existing drawing into a drawing layer which it then can be used to setup your new drawing.
